Barbour revisits House of Hackney for capsule SS22 collection

Heritage British lifestyle brand Barbour has once again teamed up with House of Hackney for its latest collaboration collection – launching on 30 March 2022 – with a focus on two bespoke print stories across women’s outerwear and clothing.

It follows the successful merger of Barbour’s outerwear expertise and House of Hackney’s iconic prints, first introduced for AW21.

‘Flora Fantasia’ and ‘Wild Card’ are the two stories used on outerwear, printed shirts, floaty dresses and a classic jersey top, and there’s an exclusive patchwork blend of both prints.

The ‘Flora Fantasia’ print is based on a modern retelling of ‘Fleurs de Fantaisie’ by J E Buchert, a very rare book of watercolour flower prints from the 1880’s.

The eye-catching hero piece in the collection is an all over ‘Wild Card’ leopard print Barbour ‘Ferncliff’ wax jacket, while the ‘Flora Fantasia’ print stands out best on the ‘Bohemia’ shirt which has a pussy bow tie at the neck.

Frieda Gormley, Co-Founder of House of Hackney, said: “We love bringing our unique prints to Barbour’s heritage classics and creating pieces which will not only stand out, but stand the test of time.”
