Balenciaga unveils Adidas collaboration alongside Spring 2023 collection
Balenciaga has unveiled a collaboration with Adidas alongside its Spring 2023 collection at its New York runway show last night.
Inspired by the late 90s and early 2000s, the line of ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, jewellery, and accessories for men and women are marked with a badge of sport or trefoil logo over the name Balenciaga in the lowercase adidas typeface.
French luxury group Kering said the collaboration "recontextualises elements of sportswear that have been a part of Balenciaga’s creative language", which will see the fashion house subvert and reinterpret the Adidas' signature DNA of the Three Stripes.
Priced between $210 and $5,500, the Balenciaga x adidas collection is available for pre-order now on Balenciaga’s website until 29 May.
The news comes after Gucci, another Kering-owned luxury house, announced its collaboration with the sportswear giant earlier this month.
