Tailoring didn’t make the biggest impact the London runways but we saw plenty of slimline pantsuits and there really was something for almost everyone. The key was the skinny pant (sometimes ultra-skinny) that was usually cut cropped at the ankle.
Mainly teamed with a skinny jacket, designers also gave themselves permission to loosen the silhouette slightly with an occasionally-wider-cut blazer. This look worked for careerwear dressing as well as more relaxed daytime and occasionwear too. The important pieces to wear with these suits? A simple tee, a waistcoat or nothing at all.
