Authentic Brands Group appoints new European president

Authentic Brands Group today announced that Henry Stupp has joined the company in a new role as President of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

The addition of this new leadership role is an important step for the company, as it aims to heighten its focus on expansion in key regions and diversify its portfolio.

In his role, Stupp will spearhead ABG’s brand and business expansion across EMEA and India. He will be located in London, where he will open and oversee a new ABG office and recruit for dedicated regional teams.

His proven track record in connecting licensed brands with best-in-class partners and driving distribution are important attributes that we believe will fuel ABG’s continued commitment to brand growth in the region.”

Stupp brings 30 years of leadership experience to ABG in the licensing and brand marketing industries. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Apex Global Brands (formerly Cherokee Global Brands). During his decade-long tenure with Apex, in addition to providing M&A oversight, Stupp introduced many licenses and brands to a broad, global retail and wholesale audience.

ABG veteran Taylor Morono, now interim SVP of EMEA, will join Henry in this endeavour to develop ABG’s London office and the expansion of its brands in the region.
