Aurélien opens first UK flagship in Knightsbridge
Premium lifestyle label Aurélien has opened its first permanent UK store at 59 Brompton Road in Knightsbridge, expanding its physical retail footprint with a 3,200 sq ft London flagship.
Located moments from Harrods, the three-floor boutique carries the brand’s outerwear, knitwear, footwear and accessories. The opening follows several London retail activations – it has hosted pop-ups at Selfridges and Harvey Nichols, and sells its footwear in Harrods – and forms part of Aurélien’s wider international expansion.
Aurélien positions itself around understated design, natural materials and European craftsmanship. The company calls this model “Smart Luxury”, combining premium construction with what it describes as an intelligent price point (loafers retail at £255). Its garments and footwear are made in Italy and elsewhere in Europe.
Natural materials shape the store
The flagship uses light oak, natural travertine, warm brass details and ambient lighting to translate the label’s Mediterranean influences into a residential retail setting.
Products are presented as complete looks, with the assortment spanning the Yacht Loafer in several colourways, lightweight shirts and polo shirts, knitwear, jackets, caps, bags and leather goods. The London store also offers private shopping and personalised appointments with style advisers.
Xander Bieckmann, Retail Developer at Aurélien, said: “London has always felt like a natural next chapter for our brand, fully in line with the vision and ambitions that continue to shape our company.
"The opening of our new Flagship Store in this area marks an important milestone for Aurélien and represents a significant step in our continued global expansion, while remaining true to the values and atmosphere that we consider essential to the brand.”
Bieckmann added that Knightsbridge’s international customer base and focus on craftsmanship made the location suitable for the brand.
The Brompton Road opening places Aurélien beside an established international luxury customer base. In its latest annual results, Harrods reported an £84.9 million pre-tax profit for the year ended 31 January 2026, with turnover rising 1.2% to £1.08 billion, as covered.
