Astrid & Miyu to open its first regional UK store in Leeds

Astrid & Miyu, the cult fashion jewellery brand, will open its first regional UK store in Leeds next week.

The store is located in the heart of the city's Victoria Quarter and houses 83 sq ft of retail space over two floors. It promises to be a "playground for jewellery lovers" offering the brand's full range of stackable jewellery as well as services, such as piercings, tattoos and welded bracelets.

Inside the store takes inspiration from the old and the new with dark timber and marble juxtaposed with Astrid & Miyu's signature shocking pink features.

The opening is the latest move in the British-based brand's global retail expansion. Earlier this year it opened a new store in New York and staged a successful pop-up in Berlin. It has also expanded its presence in London and now operates seven stores in capital along with concessions in Selfridges London and Manchester.

Sharon Solis, Retail Director at Astrid & Miyu commented: "We’ve been working hard to find the perfect location for the brand to open our first new UK store of 2022, so we’re extremely delighted to announce the news that we’re opening with a two storey store housing all of our three services in the Grade II listed building in Leeds, offering an elevated customer experience.

"This year we are focusing on expanding our presence outside of London, specifically where we already have a strong online community. Leeds is a great city with a mixture of high street, independent and luxury brands all within close reach of each other, making it an ideal location for us.”

The new store will open its doors on 25 August.
