ASOS partners with Deliveroo for on-demand delivery of football shirts

ASOS has partnered with Deliveroo in a "first-of-its-kind" limited-time partnership that makes the online retailer's in-house football supporter shirts available to order on demand via the delivery platform in Greater London and Manchester.

The collaboration, which goes live today, offers shoppers the chance to get their hands on 15 football-themed shirt designs spanning men's and women's silhouettes, with delivery in as little as 25 minutes.

Styles, which are priced between £12 and £22, include country-themed designs including England, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Portugal, Germany, Mexico and the Netherlands.

The range spans baby tees, off-shoulder tops, tanks, bandeaus, boxy oversized T-shirts and oversized polos, with a full size range from XS to XL. Customers can order up to two shirts per transaction.

Vanessa Spence, Executive Vice President of Brand and Creative at ASOS, said: "Partnering with Deliveroo lets us meet them right where they are, whether that's getting match-day ready at the last minute or leaning into the energy and emotional rollercoaster of the game. It's about making style feel easy, relevant, and part of real life."

Suzy McClintock, VP Consumer and New Verticals at Deliveroo, added: "Expanding our retail offering with ASOS is an exciting step that gives fans an easy way to complete their plans, whether that's stocking up for a watch party or getting last-minute fashion essentials delivered to their door."

The launch marks yet another instance where the online retailer has been looking for ways to reach customers beyond its core digital platform.

It follows ASOS' announcement last month that it was launching a styling app in the AI chatbot ChatGPT that allows customers to discover fashion products and then complete their purchase on ASOS.com.

ASOS had also told TheIndustry.fashion earlier this month that it believes physical retail can play another significant role in ensuring it meets its "customers where they are", as it evaluates insights from recent pop-ups and brand partnerships.
