ASOS donates products and launches Heroes collection to support the NHS
Leading online fashion retailer ASOS has donated items and launched a limited-edition unisex "Heroes" product to raise funds for the NHS during the COVID-19 pandemic.
All of the profits from the sale of these will be matched by ASOS and donated to NHS Trust coronavirus charities.
The garments originally sold out within days of going on sale on Thursday 9 April, but have since continually been restocked.
Teams across ASOS have been working over the past few weeks to offer support and industry connections to the Government, the NHS and the local communities where the company operates, co-ordinated by Chief Information Officer, Cliff Cohen.
ASOS is also donating thousands of much-needed items to NHS front-line staff at NHS Trusts and hospitals that are either close to where the company operates or have been in direct contact with it to ask for our support.
Items donated include washable tote bags, hand creams and comfortable clothing, like joggers, t-shirts and hoodies.
ASOS has also contacted Barnsley, Sheffield and Doncaster councils, local to their Great Houghton fulfilment centre, to offer logistics capabilities and warehouse space in support of local NHS efforts.
