ASOS has announced the appointment of Matthew Dunn as its new CFO; he is set to join the young fashion etailer in the spring of 2019.
Dunn has most recently been CFO at soft drinks giant Britvic and prior to that was with brewery SAB Miller. He replaces Helen Ashton who announced her departure in March and left the company in August. CEO Nick Beighton has been overseeing the CFO role on an interim basis.
Beighton said of Dunn’s appointment: “I’m looking forward to working with Mathew. He brings us a totally relevant mix of operational experience together with a history of implementing and overseeing finance systems at an international level.”
Dunn added: “I’m very much looking forward to working with the ASOS team. I’m motivated by their ambitious plans to realise the significant potential still ahead for the company.”
Last week ASOS revealed that its sales had grown by 24% reaching £2.41bn in the year to 31 August 2018, while profit before tax was up 28% at £102m.
