ASICS sales surge as Europe drives 43.8% growth
ASICS has reported another strong quarter in its Europe region, with sales increasing by 43.8% to ¥84,572 million (£396.90 million) in Q1 2026, which it attributed to strong performances across all categories.
Profits in the European region also increased by 53.5% to ¥18,211 million (£85.45 million), due to the rise in net sales.
The brand's SportStyle lifestyle category specifically saw significant growth in the European market, with the brand announcing that it is planning to roll out new stores dedicated to SportStyle over the coming year, although it didn't specify any regions.
The brand also noted that it was the "number one footwear brand" worn by runners across key spring marathons in Europe, based on data collected by Jewell Running Group.
Across all regions, ASICS recorded net sales of ¥270.2 billion, (£1.2 million) a 29.7% increase year-on-year in the first quarter of 2026.
ASICS EMEA also reported positive Q1 2026 results, with revenues increasing by 21.2% compared to the same period in 2025 (excluding Onitsuka Tiger sales).
ASICS EMEA Chief Executive Officer, Carsten Unbehaun, said: "I am proud of the results our teams in EMEA have delivered in the first quarter. We continue to see strong demand for ASICS, with growth across all categories.
"With a continued focus on strong retailer partnerships and an elevated distribution proposition, ASICS continues to go from strength to strength - creating brand value for both our partners and consumers. Our unique brand purpose, combined with our commitment to product innovation is resonating with consumers, as we inspire more people to move for both body and mind."
The news follows yesterday's launch of ASICS' first-ever beauty-focused campaign, Get The Glow, which highlights the natural "post-exercise glow" associated with movement and its impact on physical and mental wellbeing.
In Q3 2025, ASICS EMEA reported a 17.7% year-on-year increase in revenue, citing demand for both performance and lifestyle products.
