Anthropologie to join growing retail offer at Battersea Power Station
Anthropologie is set to open a new store at Battersea Power Station in the summer, joining the likes of Alo Yoga, ZARA, Me+Em and a host of other fashion brands at the retail destination.
The store is one of 10 new retail, leisure and cultural openings that the retail destination is planning for 2026, and also includes the opening of a store by Korean beauty retailer Moida K-Beauty.
Anthropologie, which is owned by URBN, also recently opened a 2,852 sq ft anchor unit at the shopping destination Coal Drops Yard in north London. Last autumn, the brand also opened a 7,000 sq ft flagship store on Peter’s Lane at the Liverpool ONE shopping centre.
Harriett Renny, Director of Commercial Leasing at Battersea Power Station, said: "Battersea Power Station is delivering on its ambition to be one of London’s most compelling mixed-use destinations.
"Having welcomed more than 40 million visitors since opening in 2022, we are a testament to the enduring appeal of in-person retail and leisure, with a focus on experience and connection.
"This approach enables us to attract an exciting mix of new brands across fashion, food and leisure, while continuous evolution draws new audiences and encourages repeat visits, further cementing Battersea Power Station’s position within London’s thriving retail scene."
Last October, Battersea Power Station’s Malaysian owners reportedly approached advisors from BNP Paribas to explore interest from a "handful" of interested parties regarding a potential £2 billion sale.
