The fashion glitz, glamour and quirky style of Annie’s Ibiza is coming to London with its first UK boutique opening at 3 Newburgh Street in Carnaby on 4 November, 2020.

Owned by former fashion buyer Annie Doble, the independent self-made store owner has made a big splash among the fashion elite. Putting her heart and soul into hand-picking the most stand-out pieces, Annie’s Ibiza, which first opened in Ibiza’s Old Town in 2018, is frequented and loved by stars and friends including Kate Moss, Rita Ora, Paris Hilton, Peggy Gou, Mariacarla Boscono, Giovanna Battaglia and Maya Jama - who travel especially for the store’s unique and one-of-a-kind pieces.

Doble says: “The store is a reflection of my wardrobe and all the things that I love. I am so excited to bring the joy and excitement of our Ibiza store to London.”

Samantha Bain-Mollison, Retail Director at London landlord Shaftesbury, adds: “We are delighted that Annie’s Ibiza has chosen Carnaby for its first UK standalone boutique. The brand has many high-profile celebrity fans, a collection of sought-after fashion labels and it’s a perfect addition to Newburgh Street where the customer is seeking unique premium product.”

Doble’s Newburgh Street store, which is 815 sq ft over two floors, promises to bring just as much fun and glamour as the Ibiza store, with a selection of vibrant and established brands such as Christian Cowan, Ashley Williams, Area, De La Vali, Saks Potts, Clio Peppiatt and Alice Temperley, as well as some exciting exclusive pieces from designers such as Ashish, and emerging talent including Miss Sohee.

The store will also include an edit of vintage pieces which have been specially selected by Doble for her London boutique.

Passionate about working with smaller, up-and-coming brands Doble tries to ensure the brands she houses have a low carbon footprint, with many of the brands she stocks being handmade. The offer also includes repurposed dresses made from 1950’s table clothes, Vintage Dior pieces and Chanel jewellery from the 1970’s.

Doble actually had her own vintage stall at Spitalfields Market at just 17, and ended up landing herself a job in the buying department of Calvin Klein in New York, before returning to London and discovering Ibiza in her early 20’s.

Falling in love with the island, and soon making her own connections, Doble acquired a small store in the heart of Ibiza’s port where she began to sell her clothes. Now London beckons once again, and hopefully Annie’s Ibiza can bring some sunshine with it.
