Anine Bing opens new store in Covent Garden
LA-based women’s fashion brand Anine Bing has opened its third store in London, a 2,300 sq ft space at 9-11 Langley Court in Covent Garden.
It adds to the store it opened at 3 Grosvenor Street in Mayfair in November 2018, and the store at 8 Symons Street in Chelsea in March 2022.
The minimalist interior design “reflects the brand’s iconic style of Scandinavian simplicity and American energy”, with a nod to London’s classic architecture.
The store is housing a wide assortment of the brand’s signature pieces and elevated wardrobe basics across blazers, denim, sportswear, footwear, bags and other accessories, as well as jewellery, and instore services include complementary one to one styling consultations.
Tucked away on a pedestrian-only street, the store aims to “provide a respite from the bustling streets of Covent Garden”. It occupies the entire building and is Anine Bing’s first two-level shopping experience. The staircase leading from the ground floor is a focal point, as is an eye-catching semi-circle balcony.
On the first floor, a more residential atmosphere evokes an expansive London flat where guests will be welcomed to book private appointments and enjoy time on the small private terrace overlooking the back courtyard.
Denmark-born former model Anine Bing, who launched her eponymous label in 2012, said: “Covent Garden’s sophisticated retail scene is the perfect spot for our next foray into the London area.
“We know how important the UK market is for the brand, and it is currently one of our top global markets, so opening a third store was really important for us in order to keep up with consumer demand.”
