Ami Paris couples Valentine’s Day collection with activations in key fashion capitals
Under the design lead of founder Alexandre Mattiussi, Ami Paris has launched a Valentine’s Day selection of pieces “celebrating love in all its shapes” in a curated reinterpretation of the iconic Ami de Coeur line.
An embroidered red Ami love heart and ‘A’ logo features on a selection of off-white pieces, including wool sweaters and cardigans, as well as cotton sweatshirts, hoodies and T-shirts, now available at Ami Paris boutiques worldwide.
Coinciding with the launch of the capsule collection, which has been photographed on couples of various ages, and “emphasising the spirit of love and devotion”, Ami Paris has also unveiled benches in London, Paris and New York, which are described as “actual refuges of love, emotions and contemplation”.
Made of light wood, the design of the benches takes inspiration from the pieces themselves, off-white and with a red Ami de Coeur.
The globally recognised Ami de Coeur logo was originally Alexandre Mattiussi’s signature, one he has used ever since he was a child to sign letters, sketches and drawings.
