AlphaTauri launches ‘Heatable Capsule Collection’

Red Bull-owned fashion brand Alpha Tauri has just launched a new "Heatable Capsule Collection", consisting of a jacket and a vest for men and women, which can be heated to the wearer’s ideal feel-good temperature – merging design with innovation.

With the help of a battery developed by Deutsche Telekom AG, two heat levels can be set either at the touch of a button via a control element on the inner lining or via a smartphone app. Weighing just 175 grams, the battery is lightweight and discreet, neatly tucked away in an extra pocket on the back.

The E-Soft Shell material, by Schoeller Textil AG, is an innovative heating technology that is responsible for distributing the heat. The heatable zones are found in the pockets and on the lower back. The heatable lining fabric also contains a network of conductive yarns.

Two testimonials of the new capsule collection are Yuki Tsunoda and Pierre Gasly, both Formula 1 race drivers of the Scuderia AlphaTauri team, who were photographed trying out the new garments in an exclusive photoshoot in Istanbul.

Now available on the Alpha Tauri website, the jackets and vests, available in light grey and navy, are priced at £619.90 and £444.90 respectively.
