Los Angeles-based activewear Alo has confirmed the opening dates of four new UK store openings in late 2025 and 2026.

Its first UK store outside of London will open at 5 New Cathedral Street in Manchester on 21 November, set over 6,877 sq ft. Then a 6,500 sq ft store at Westfield London (White City) will follow on 28 November, followed by a new 2,551 sq ft “sanctuary” at Battersea Power Station on 5 December.

Rounding off the quadruple of openings for Alo, previously referred to as Alo Yoga (it has now expanded its ranges beyond yoga), will be a 6,707 sq ft store at Victoria Leeds shopping centre in 2026, though the actual date for that one remains to be nailed down.

The openings will add to Alo Yoga’s first UK store which opened at 33 King’s Road in November 2023, and the 10,000 sq ft flagship at 150 Regent Street and another London store at 75 Brompton Road - both of which opened in August 2024.

A fourth London store was added at 25 Neal Street in Covent Garden in December 2024, in the same week Alo opened its first store in Ireland, a 6,738 sq ft unit at 62 Grafton Street in Dublin.

Each of the new stores are being designed as wellness-led destinations rather than traditional retail spaces, with light-filled, studio-inspired interiors, natural materials and sculptural installations “that immerse visitors in the brand’s studio-to-street lifestyle”.

Summer Nacewicz, Executive Vice President of Marketing & Creative at Alo, said: “We’re thrilled to expand Alo’s presence in the UK with four new sanctuaries that bring people together. Each space has been thoughtfully created to reflect the spirit of its city while offering our community a place to connect, recharge, and grow.

“At Alo, we believe wellness is best experienced collectively — these sanctuaries are envisioned as hubs for movement, mindfulness and community. From Manchester’s vibrant energy to the historic beauty of Battersea and Victoria Leeds, each destination is meant to bring people together to share in the Alo experience.”

In August, Alo reunited with “long-time muse" Kendall Jenner to front its new ‘Luxury to Wellness’ AW25 campaign, shot on location in Amangiri in Utah and introducing a ‘Core Collection’ of 10 “elevated essentials”.
