Alo opens Northern store as popularity in UK skyrockets

LA-based wellness and activewear brand Alo is expanding its UK footprint, opening its second store in the North of England at Victoria Leeds.

The 6,707 sq ft space is situated on a prominent corner within Victoria Quarter. The store brings the brand’s signature studio-to-street aesthetic to Leeds, blending industrial finishes with warm finishes.

The new opening stocks Alo’s full women’s and men’s collections, spanning performance-led activewear, outerwear, accessories and wellness products.

Founded in Los Angeles in 2007, Alo has grown into a global wellness brand rooted in yoga and mindfulness. Alongside its retail network, the brand has built an expansive ecosystem that includes community events, wellness products and a digital platform offering thousands of free fitness and mindfulness classes. Known for its fashion-forward approach to movement and recovery, Alo continues to position itself at the intersection of fitness, lifestyle and retail experience.

Rachel Bradburn, Head of Leasing at Redical, said: "There is a real buzz around the city in anticipation of Alo’s first store in the region and second-ever UK store outside of London. It’s a stellar opening to see at the start of 2026 and a strong signal of the brand’s UK growth."

The opening signals Alo’s confidence in UK cities outside of the capital as it continues to scale its physical retail presence, bringing its sought-after offering to a broader British audience.
