11 September 2018

AllSaints CEO William Kim has left the premium fashion retailer to take up a new role with its private equity backer Lion Capital.

Kim will be replaced by chief operating officer Peter Wood (who has been at the business for eight years) and will now head up digital investments at Lion Capital, which acquired a majority stake in AllSaints in 2011.

As well as investments in general retail, personal care and food and beverage, Lion Capital holds stakes in a number of premium fashion brands including John Varvatos, Paige Denim and Buscemi. It has previously invested in American Apparel, La Senza and Jimmy Choo.

Kim had been with AllSaints since 2012 and prior to that held senior roles at Burberry, Abercrombie & Fitch and Gucci.
