British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman will deliver the keynote address at the next edition of trade show Pure London in February.

Shulman will take to the main stage on the afternoon of the show's first day, Sunday 12 February, to share insights into her career and the fashion industry.

British Vogue has been celebrating its centenary this year and Shulman has been at the helm for 25 years, making her its longest-standing editor.

During this time she has received many awards including BSME Editor of the Year, PPA Editor of the Year Award 2016, the WGSN Futures 2016 Outstanding Achievement Award, and an OBE in the 2005 New Year’s Honours for her services to the magazine industry.

Pure London portfolio director Julie Driscoll said she was "overjoyed" to secure Shulman as keynote speaker. "With her impressive 25 years at the forefront of the nation’s go-to style bible, this is definitely not a session to be missed," Driscoll said. "As the leading voice in British fashion we look forward to the wealth of knowledge and insight she will be bringing to the main stage."

Shulman heads a roster of 30 speakers at the three-day event. Also delivering talks will be Christina Sheehy, chief sub-editor at Net-A-Porter; Georgie Coleridge Cole, editor and founder at Sheerluxe; Lisa Maynard-Atem, social media manager at Harrods; and Sara Maggioni, director of retail and buying at WGSN.

Maggioni's talk, often one of the show's highlights, will share the key looks, colours, shapes and fabrics for AW17. These looks will then be brought to life in the main runway show, with all outfits available to order from brands at Pure London.

Pure London takes place at London Olympia from 12-14 February 2017.
