Adidas has launched another collaborative collection with British designer label Wales Bonner for the Spring/Summer 2021 season.

Initially previewed during Men’s Paris Fashion Week in September 2020, the collection builds on Wales Bonner’s previous vision to explore “the diasporic connections between Britain and the Caribbean”.

The Spring/Summer 2021 collection features both footwear and apparel, reworking tracksuits, football jerseys and shorts alongside classic adidas silhouettes, exploring the origins of dancehall music in Jamaica and infusing a number of iconic adidas looks with rich references.

The apparel offering features reimagined 70's era pieces including shorts, t-shirts, and tracksuits that have been elevated with vintage cut lines, mesh and check prints.

The collection also includes updates to the Adidas Samba and Nizza silhouettes. The two-colourway WB Samba sneaker has a full leather upper with a suede toe cap, leather stripes, co-branded details throughout, and supplementary crochet laces.

The collection is due for release on 26 March on Adidas's website, and select retailers in the UK once non-essential retail re-opens.

Earlier this week, Adidas revealed its new “Own the Game” strategy – designed to significantly increase sales and profitability as well as gain market share until 2025.
