Adidas launches inspiring figures film series featuring Beyonce

Today, Adidas has announced the launch of a series of bold short films about rebellious optimism, aiming to include  and  unite people in sport, through sustainability and inclusivity.

The series serves as one of the first examples of Adidas's recently unveiled plans to create a better future for sport as part of its "Own the Game" strategy.

Told in the documentary style of home footage, the Impossible Is Nothing series provides a previously unseen side to some of the most documented individuals in the world, enabled via a powerful narrative.

Across the 20 films, stories are told through home footage of some of authentic stories in sport and sport culture around the world including Beyoncé, Paul Pogba, Mo Salah, Ranveer Singh and Ninja.

To adidas, Impossible is Nothing is a way of seeing the world for what it can be, not as it is - an attitude shared by its community and its partners. It aims to inspire others, empowering them by this collection of human stories as a powerful demonstration of what optimism can achieve.

Subjects in the series include Beyoncé, who saw the possibilities of inviting all of us to find our voice. To use her platform as a stage to celebrate our differences with all people.

Siya Kolisi,  the first Black captain of the South African Rugby team, saw the possibilities to lead his nation to victory at the 2019 World Cup, securing a win that stretched beyond the rugby pitch of Japan and touched the lives of all South Africans.

Tifanny Abreu, the first trans woman to play in the Brazilian Volleyball  Superliga,  saw possibilities to return to the court after five years away, and to inspire people to embrace their own identities and live with courage and authenticity.

The episodic content series begins today, with new stories dropping throughout Spring and Summer 2021.
