Adidas's Supervisory Board has extended the appointment of executive board members Roland Auschel and Brian Grevy.

Roland Auschel, who is responsible for Global Sales, has been an executive board member at Adidas since 2013. Brian Grevy has been an executive board member since 2020 and is responsible for Global Brands at Adidas.

Prior to his current role, Auschel has held senior management positions at Adidas, including Business Unit Manager, Key Account Manager Europevand Head of Region Europe, Middle East and Africa. In 2009, he became Chief Sales Officer Multichannel Markets. The board has extended his role by two years until the end of 2024.

Grevy has also held various leadership positions at Adidas, including Director Men's Training and SVP Training & Regional Sports. In 2018, he joined Gant as CMO, where he became CEO in 2018. The board has extended his role by five years until early 2028.

Thomas Rabe, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Adidas, said: “On behalf of the Supervisory Board, I am very pleased to announce that we have extended the appointments of both Roland and Brian. Our long-term strategy ‘Own the Game’ has the consumer at its heart. Both Roland and Brian play key roles in bringing this consumer focus to life with their respective functions. We are convinced that they will continue the successful execution of our strategy together with the entire Executive Board."

This news follows the recent announcement that Adidas plans to hire over 2,800 employees in 2022.
