Adidas and Beyoncé reveal first IVY PARK collaboration

Adidas and Beyoncé have unveiled the first collection to form part of the IVY PARK global partnership, between the sports giant and music icon, which was announced in spring of this year.

The gender neutral collection will go on-sale in stores and online on 18 January features an array of performance apparel and accessories with a focus on layering to enable the wearer to create their own looks.

Items in the line include a utilitarian jumpsuit, cargo pants, hoodie, cycling shorts, backpack, bag, sports bra and four styles of footwear with a palette focusing on the vivid colors of solar orange and maroon with cream.

IVY PARK was initially conceived in 2016 as an athleisure collaboration in partnership with Topshop tycoon Sir Philip Green, and it was sold in stores such as Topshop, Selfridges and Zalando. However Beyoncé announced she had taken full ownership of the brand at the end of 2017 and revealed the partnership with Adidas in April.

"It is a dream come true to re-launch IVY PARK as the sole owner," said Beyoncé. "My team has worked hard with the adidas team in bringing my vision to life for this first collection and I am grateful and proud. From the accessories to the clothes and footwear, I wanted to design and re-imagine pieces that serve as favourite armor for anyone who acknowledges the strength in their individual style and lives freely and boldly."
