Sustainable adaptive fashion brand Unhidden has teamed up with Style for Stroke Foundation for a t-shirt collection, which aims to raise awareness about the impacts of a stroke and issues with disability and fashion.

The t-shirt collection, which comes in black and white tees, features empowering words such as ‘Warrior’, ‘Super’, ‘One of a Kind’, ‘Love’ and ‘Iconic’ to inspire and create conversation about the medical condition and disability.

The collection will be previewed on schedule during London Fashion Week on 11 June.

With a growing number of stroke sufferers under 40, Style For Stroke seeks to highlight, educate, and influence people to make healthier lifestyle choices and lower their risk of stroke through fashion. Stroke is the biggest cause of disability in the UK with almost 2 thirds of stroke survivors leaving hospital with a disability.

Nick Ede, Founder of Style for Stroke said: "I am so excited to be launching this year’s campaign featuring this empowering collection of slogan tees. When I found out about the work that Victoria has been doing to create an inclusive fashion range for people with disability, I knew we had to collaborate. Style For Stroke has always been about being inclusive, cool and compassionate with an edge, and I think the new designs really speak for themselves."

Victoria Jenkins, Founder of Unhidden added: "When Nick contacted me for this collaboration I was absolutely thrilled as our missions are so closely aligned- raising awareness and funds for such an important cause is exactly why I do what I do- to shine a light on subjects we don’t see enough of. We’ll be using deadstock fabric to make the t-shirts (saving the fabric from landfill) and toxin free eco dyes for the prints themselves as well as paying our seamstresses properly- this collaboration is truly putting people and planet first."

Available from 20 June, the collection is available to purchase for £30 at its webstore and will be available in sizes XS to XXL.

Each t-shirt is made to order via ethical brand Tee Mill, with a minimum of 50% of the retail price from the sale of each tee going to Style For Stroke Foundation.
