Ace & Tate heads to Broadway Market for new London store
Dutch eyewear brand Ace & Tate has opened a new store at 74 Broadway Market in Hackney, East London - its 10th store in the capital in 10 years.
It adds to its stores at 15 Brewer Street in Soho, 10 Earlham Street in Covent Garden, 327 Portobello Road in Notting Hill, Unit 5 at Coal Drops Yard in King’s Cross, and 43 Duke Street in Mayfair, among others.
The store front has been painted in a striking blue, which is a direct reference to the iconic parasols known to line the local market stalls outside.
Meanwhile, the interior has been designed to have a lived-in feel, with furnishings salvaged from previous locations nodding to the area's second-hand shopping culture.

The new opening is the latest milestone in Ace & Tate's European expansion - the brand now operates across over 80 stores “continent-wide”, a trajectory recently bolstered by the recent acquisition of Spanish sunglasses brand PJ Lobster.
Launching alongside the store is Ace & Tate's newest spring 2026 sunglasses capsule drop, ‘For Your Eyes Only’ - described as “a celebration of real-life connection and IRL moments”.

Lex van de Vliet, CEO of Ace & Tate, said: “Opening our tenth store in a city we’ve called home for a decade is a proud moment for the team. Broadway Market represents the best of London’s independent spirit. We’re excited to bring our expert care and thoughtful design to even more people in this vibrant neighbourhood.”
Ace & Tate’s mission is to provide well designed, quality eyewear “accessible to everyone”. As with its other London stores, the new Broadway Market space is also offering on-site eye tests, bookable through the brand’s website.
